Coral and orange lovin'

Bonjour, mes amis!
I am currently in love with anything coral or orange, but I'm most liking lipsticks and nail varnishes.

I've recently bought a few things that are completely gorgeous, so this is probably going to be an orange/coral-orientated haul.

Okay, so firstly, I bought two L'Oreal nail varnishes and, surprise surprise, I bought orange and coral. They are from the Colour Riche collection, and come in 5ml bottles. They're pretty much the same formula, it's just the colour that's different. I got them in Lush Tangerine (303) and Dating Coral (305). I actually bought them a while ago, probably in February or March, but they're so gorgeous and bright!
However, you do need a good 3 coats to get a full coverage. Two coats would probably be enough for short nails with no natural tips, but to ensure that your nail is all one colour, if you have longer nails, you'll need a few more than usual. I think they were around £4-5 each, I can't quite remember, but I remember being very willing to pay however much they cost.

My mum bought me 6 Urban Decay nail varnishes, but my favourite colours are the orange and coral. They're from the Summer Of Love collection, which is actually a gorgeous selection of colours, I love them all. I have no idea how much these were because my mum bought them for me, but I think she got them from House Of Fraser, or a department store like that. Again, they're in 5ml bottles, which isn't very big, but I do have a rather large collection of nail varnishes, so they don't get used too often. The orange is in Magic Bus and the coral is in Psychedelic Sister. I love random names for nails varnishes, it just makes them so much more interesting!
The orange is a very deep, rich colour, you only need two coats for full coverage, and the coral is also very rich, but you need about 3 coats, just to give that little umph.
If you don't really care about labels and designers for your nail varnishes, there are plenty of cheaper alternatives to Urban Decay, but I do find them much better quality than cheaper brands.

Last nail varnish. I bought a Rimmel London coral nail varnish, from the 60 second collection. I don't own any other Rimmel nail varnises, so I'm quite excited about this one. I bought it in Instyle Coral (415), and it's a really subtle, pastelly type colour. It's much more spring-like and girly than the others. I wouldn't say I'm completely in love with the formula, it's a little bit on the liquidy side, which makes it difficult to achieve an even coverage, but it's a gorgeous colour. You need about 3 coats, for full coverage. It comes in an 8ml bottle, and I think it was priced at about £5.

Right, on to lipsticks. I can't remember if I've already featured this lipstick on here already, but I'm completely in love with it so I'll do it again. It's a Bourjois lipstick from the Sweet Shine Kiss collection. I bought it in Juicy Tangerine (74), but it's definitely more pinky-red than orange. I think it was around the £8 mark, but I can't remember.
It's such a lovely colour, and a super creamy formula. However, because it's so creamy, it doesn't last very long. But I'd be happy to pay another £8 for another one because I'm totally in love with it. I suppose it does have orangey undertones, but it's mainly corally-pink. It makes your lips feel really nourished and cared for, whether it actually nourishes and cares for your lips is another matter...
It's also really bold and bright, so it's perfect for those days where you don't look perfect but you don't have time to do your make up. You can just swipe a bit on and it instantly draws the eye to your lips, and away from your problem areas.

Finally, I bought a Rimmel London lipstick, from the Lasting Finish collection, in Coral In Gold (210). It was about £4, which I think is excellent value. It's more orange than coral, I'd say, but it's still gorgeous. I've never tried an orange lipstick before, I've always been a red/pink girl, but I think the tides are turning.
It's not too creamy, so I think it's going to last a while, which is a gooood thing! It has a bit of shimmer in it, so it really draws attention to your lips and reflects the light really well.

I bought all of these products, apart from the Urban Decay nail varnishes, from Boots, so you can definitely find them pretty much everywhere. I couldn't find links to each product, but I hope my description is enough to be going on with.

Let me know if you've tried any of these products, I'd love to know your opinions on them too!

Hope you've enjoyed! Thank you for reading.
